Can you tell me more about the MotorSilk Gear Fluid Additive?

*Description:

MotorSilk Gear Fluid Additive is designed for use in all manual transmissions, manual transaxles and final drives or rear end differentials except for limited slip rear ends with clutches.

MotorSilk gear Fluid Additive contains enhanced esters and their derivatives and synthetic-base oils and a complete boron anti-wear formulation. It is designed to provide high-temperature stability to prevent coating of synchros and gears.

*Benefits:

Less drive train power loss, lower friction on bearings and gears, prevents welding and scoring on gears, reduces tooth drag, minimizes oxidation, corrosion and varnish deposits, improves shifting in manual transmissions, lowers operating temperatures and increases efficiency for more power, longer equipment life and extended gear-fluid changes.

Note: The MotorSilk Gear Treatment Product is not recommended for limited slip differential drive components and wet-clutch assemblies found on some motorcycles and other equipment. It's simple to figure out: If your rear end used a "modifier or limited slip additive" in the oil, do not use our gear treatment.
