My mechanic advises against additives, should I use MotorSilk?

Mechanics will often generalize on these topics with opinions formed over time from a broad base of information.

If your mechanic has not taken the time to read and understand the MotorSilk Boron CLS Bond technology, he cannot offer an opinion on this product.

Because the MotorSilk products are new to this level of the market and are very different in function, the chances are very good that your mechanic has never heard of MotorSilk and does not understand the advanced technology.
